Noida: Despite managing to book a slot over CoWIN for vaccination in Noida and Greater Noida, scores of residents were unable to get their doses on the second day of the drive. This is because the address and location of the primary health centres were mentioned incorrectly on the centralised app.
As a result, the 18 to 44 population was guided to the wrong location through Google Maps and despite having local address proof and necessary documents, the recipients were unable to reach their centres on time. In some cases, the actual centre was 20 km to 25 km away.
Out of the 16 centres that have been set up to give jabs to the people in the 18-44 age group in Gautam Budh Nagar district, the location and address of five centres have been fed incorrectly on the app.
