Greetings of Joy, Mercy and Hope! I send you fond greetings of Advent and Christmas as we prepare ourselves individually and as a community, during this Season of Grace. I wish to share with you some updates that have taken place during these months.
1. The Diocese of Penang through the Penang Office for Human Development (POHD) will be responding to the Appeal for Disaster Relief of the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent tropical cyclones which caused massive flooding and damage to those mentioned below from the Disaster Relief Account. The aid will be mainly used for shelter, food, protection, healthcare and support to rebuild their lives.

Nineteen beautiful debutantes were presented to the Vicar-Delegate, the Very Reverend Father John Clerkin in July, 1963.
The presentation was part of the Catholic Charity Ball in aid of the Home of Compassion at the Club Hotel in Suva.
Graceful curtsies, Victorian posies, souvenir programs with pencils attached on silken cords and an old time waltz were part of the program.
The beautiful girls were presented by JN Falvey. The girls were all clad in full-length white frocks, some bouffant, some bellstyled and some fashioned on sheath lines.
