CHATSWORTH, Calif. Adult mental health nonprofit Pineapple Support has released its End of Year Review for the year 2020, recounting the successes and challenges of the organization during a year whose defining theme was the COVID pandemic.
“2020 was a challenging and crucial year for the organization, as well as a significant year for the adult industry,” said Pineapple Support founder Leya Tanit. Our organization fought to fulfill the skyrocketing demand for mental health services as a result of the pandemic. Many emotional stressors were aggravated during lockdowns, and systematic discrimination in the healthcare industry proved a hurdle for many. Thankfully, Pineapple Support could help.”
