Kochi: A farmers association in Kerala has sent a truck full of pineapples for farmers protesting the new farm laws in Delhi. The leader of Pineapple Farmers Association James Thottumryil said that the cost of 16 tonnes of pineapples, including the expenditure on transport, will be born by the association.
The consignment of pineapples sent from pineapple city Vahakulam was flagged off by Agriculture Minister V S Sunil Kumar on Thursday night.

KOCHI: Expressing solidarity with the farmers protesting in the national capital, the pineapple farmers in Kerala have decided to send a truckload of pineapple to Delhi. The Vazhakulam-based Pineapple Farmers Association will send a truck, loaded with 20 tonnes of pineapple for distribution among the protesters.
