Dantex’s digital division, part of the Dantex Group, has appointed All Printing Resources (APR) as its new distributor in the USA.
APR, an Illinois-based supplier of print technologies to the labels and packaging market, will sell the range of Dantex PicoColour and PicoJet digital presses as well as inks for both systems.
Dave Nieman, APR’s president and CEO, said: ‘We are very pleased to have this excellent opportunity to support our customers in the digital space. We have been impressed with the Dantex technology and look forward to adding one of its UV inkjet presses at our Chicago-area-based Innovation Center for training and demonstrations.’

All Printing Resources (APR) and Fathom Optics have signed an exclusive US technical support agreement.
Fathom Optics, a software development company spun-off from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), has introduced a software platform that brings printed 3D and motion graphics to packaging without requiring specialty inks or substrates and without the need for additional materials, such as lenticulars or foils.

Chicago-based McCracken Label has installed a Fujifilm Flenex FW water-washable flexo plate system, purchased via All Printing Resources (APR), to increase print quality and productivity.
‘Although we had been using water-washable plates since 1997, it was now time to make the switch to a new product,’ commented Luke Vassiliades, vice president of administration and finance at McCracken Label. ‘We turned to APR because we had a good history with the company as they had successfully installed and trained us on an Esko CDI in 2019.’
‘The Fujifilm water-washable plate is longer lasting and more durable than what we were previously using, and it is much easier to handle for the platemaker. And clean-up is easier since it is not as “gummy”. Our plate department operator is very happy with the unit and plates. With this new system, we have saved time and increased plate throughput.’
