Mike Conleyleft the fifth and final game in Utah’s first-round series against the Grizzlies after having played just 12 minutes of game action with what was described as right hamstring soreness.
Following an MRI today, the team has determined that Conley has suffered a mild right hamstring strain, tweets Tony Jones of The Athletic. Jones says that Conley is day-to-day with the injury, and the top-seeded club will reassess his status ahead of the first game of the team’s Western Conference semifinals series against the winner of the Clippers-Mavericks series.
The 33-year-old will be an unrestricted free agent this season. Conley has expressed an interest to remain with the Jazz for his next contract, but is sure to have a variety of suitors as he enters free agency.

All-Star Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell is set to miss Utah’s final three regular-season games, the Jazz announced in a statement (via Twitter). The Jazz are currently the top seed in the Western Conference with a sparkling 50-19 record, 1.5 games clear of the Suns.
Utah noted that the 23-year-old will stay in Salt Lake City and not join the Jazz on the road as he undergoes further treatment on the afflicted ankle. The Jazz said that Mitchell’s health status will be reassessed ahead of the start of the playoffs, which tip off on May 22.
