La Libertad region s COVID-19 Command on Wednesday agreed to request a total quarantine for 15 days for Trujillo Province, in order to reduce the high levels of contagion and lethality due to coronavirus, which are registered in the northern region s capital.
The government official will visit the northern city to meet with local and regional authorities.
Likewise, it was decided to request a larger supply of Pfizer vaccines for La Libertad, based on the storage capacity the region has for the deep freezers available.
