The Atlantic County Prosecutor failed to do his duty and recuse himself from a criminal case involving a potential conflict of interest, the Attorney General’s Office decided this week.
The AG’s Office of Public Integrity and Accountability on Monday informed the victim in a 2019 case that his complaint alleging Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner should have immediately recused himself was sustained by the office’s investigation, according to a letter obtained by NJ Advance Media and first reported by BreakingAC.com.
