Below is a message sent out to the Wartburg College community concerning its findings from the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force’s work.
Dear Wartburg Community,
I write today to tell you that the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force I convened late last year has completed its work and passed some final recommendations on to me.
I want to thank the members of that group who come from our large community of alumni, parents, and friends Bruce King, Dajuan King, Ashlee McGrown, Ben Parks, and the Rev. Dr. Anthony Scott. I extend thanks, as well, to my colleagues Krystal Madlock and Dr. LeAnn Faidley for chairing that group despite everything else on their plates. I’m deeply grateful to all of you and thankful for your commitment to the college and your passion for helping to make it a more inclusive place for all students.
Landscape designer Anthony Scott created the perfect outdoor entertaining area for a home in the Melbourne suburb of Glen Iris by integrating several stunning features into the design.
Constructed by Element Group based on Scott’s design, the project seamlessly manages the transition of activity from the interior to the exterior of the home, with multiple covered and uncovered spaces provided for the residents and their guests to sit and relax.
Stepping outside the kitchen, one can continue along the veranda to a spacious outdoor entertaining area overlooking the pool, decked out with comfortable seating perfect for enjoying some evening drinks.
Bigger turn-out for March powerboat regatta

Speaking on a 30-minute video highlight production created by the TTPBA, which it recently uploaded to Youtube to officially launch its channel, Bell addressed the issues, saying, “Last year was rough with covid. We are still going through covid protocols but we have been allowed to put on our championship outside in the gulf.” He said some racers experien

Former Holyoke Police Chief Anthony Scott
I was a seasoned investigative reporter when I first met Anthony Scott. He had just been hired as the Chief of Police in Holyoke, MA and I knew right away that Chief Scott was going to be good for the news and bad for the criminals. He proved me right. In his tenure as Chief, he took on the gangs and the conventional wisdom on fighting crime. He went on a crusade for judicial reform when he found out that judges were giving low or no bail to suspects his officers risked their lives to arrest. He garnered a lot of attention and the story went national. During his tenure as Chief, crime went down and liberal outrage went up. Chief Scott is enjoying a well deserved retirement now in South Carolina, but he s still not afraid to speak his mind.
