There are various market forces driving change in the residential construction sector, including the ambitions of homeowners to reap the rewards of a seemingly-forever growing property market, technological advancements and their implications for product development, government-led pushes for urban consolidation, and more. However, amongst all of these, the move towards sustainability is perhaps the strongest.
Stair treads and nosing from Anston Architectural Products were specified for a new curving stairway built as part of the massive redevelopment of the Bigge Park precinct in Liverpool, NSW.

In 2018, the Liverpool City Council implemented an extensive redevelopment of the park precinct, with the intention to improve the existing facilities for public use. New amenities such as a free water play area, an outdoor gymnasium, an alfresco cafe and outdoor dining areas were introduced as part of the rejuvenation of the park.
Landscape designer Anthony Scott created the perfect outdoor entertaining area for a home in the Melbourne suburb of Glen Iris by integrating several stunning features into the design.
Constructed by Element Group based on Scott’s design, the project seamlessly manages the transition of activity from the interior to the exterior of the home, with multiple covered and uncovered spaces provided for the residents and their guests to sit and relax.
Stepping outside the kitchen, one can continue along the veranda to a spacious outdoor entertaining area overlooking the pool, decked out with comfortable seating perfect for enjoying some evening drinks.
The 2019 Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show (MIFGS) was a five-day extravaganza that featured a stunning Welcome Garden by Mark Browning Design at the entrance. Placed centrally at the main entryway to the Show at Carlton Gardens, the Welcome Garden provided an open, inviting space that celebrated the synergy of organic and manmade elements used in the installation.
The Welcome Garden played a big part in engaging visitors with its creative blend of architectural materials and natural greenery. Being the only show garden where public entry was permitted, it gave visitors an experiential adventure as they were able to interact with the unique tactile features and admire the beauty of the stunning plants and materials on display.
