Two Spokane area students are among the winners in the recent Washington state School Superintendent’s High School Art Show.
As with many pandemic events, Washington state’s student art show this year was carried out online.

A Modesto, CA woman has been identified as the person who died Sunday night in a one-vehicle crash that occurred Sunday night east of Murdo. Eight other people were injured.
Preliminary crash information indicates a 2002 Chevy Suburban, pulling a trailer, was eastbound on Interstate 90 when the driver, 34-year-old Anthony Browning of Delhi, CA, lost control. The vehicle and trailer went into the ditch and rolled.
All nine occupants were injured and taken to hospitals in Chamberlain and Pierre and later transferred to Sioux Falls. Christina Bedford, a 33-year-old passenger who had been thrown from the vehicle, later died as a result of her injuries at a Sioux Falls hospital.
