PBA Heading Back To Portland, Maine, For King Of The Lanes Events
The PBA is officially heading back to Portland, Maine, for not one, but two special PBA King of the Lanes events.

After a year and a half away from beloved Bayside Bowl in Portland, Maine, the Professional Bowlers Association is officially heading back to the famed center for not one, but two special PBA King of the Lanes events, the first 2021 Guaranteed Rate PBA Tour events with fans in attendance.
“The PBA is thrilled to be returning to Bayside Bowl and to welcome back our loyal fans for the first time since March 2020,” said Colie Edison, CEO of the PBA. “We are grateful for Bayside Bowl’s long-time support and anyone who has been there or watched a telecast filmed there knows the BoPo crowd embodies the spirit and energy of the PBA fan base. One of the most difficult positions to be in for any bowler is when the 7 and 10 pins are left standing. It is nearly impossible to get both pins to fall on the next shot. Most people either shoot the gap and leave both pins standing or they hit one pin and leave the other standing.
In a recent match, the Ginger Assassin picked up a 7-10 split. Professional Bowler Anthony Neuer became the first person in 30 years to convert the historically-difficult split during a televised match in the seventh frame of his U.S. Open semifinal match in Reno, Nevada.

Eighteen-year-old Anthony Neuer - or as he was dubbed, the Ginger Assassin - became an American cult figure as his heroics went viral after nailing the most difficult feat in bowling, and indeed, one of the toughest in sport.

It was just the fourth time in bowling history it s been seen on TV, and commentator Rob Stone went absolutely nuts.

The 7/10 split is the hardest shot to make in bowling- and it had only been done 3 times (on camera) in history.
Until 18 year old Anthony Neuer - who s known as The Ginger Assassin - did it.
And the tv annoncers lost their proverbial s when he did-
All I know is two things:
I want those announcers calling stuff that happens in my life (even the boring stuff) with that same level of enthuriasm and excitement. And
THE GINGER ASSASSIN is the coolest nickname ever given to anyone. Period.
Well done, Anthony. Well done.
