Mark Hamill, Pedro Pascal and more âStar Warsâ actors celebrated May the Fourth â a play off of the âMay the Force be with youâ lines from the movies â with social media posts on Tuesday.
âIâm beginning to accept the fact that Iâll probably never do another movie that gets its own day,â tweeted Hamill, who portrays Luke Skywalker in âStar Wars.â
He also included the hashtag #MayTheFourthBeWithYou Once In A Lifetime.
Pascal, the star of the live-action series, âThe Mandalorian,â tweeted a behind-the-scenes photo showing him in costume with his title characterâs helmet sitting atop his head.

It is a long shot for Democrats who could watch redistricting from the sidelines, and unlikely to appeal to Republicans with a shot at recapturing the U.S. House of Representatives next year. But it is something the state party says it will push for, possibly to federal court.
“It’s not representative and it’s a direct result of political gerrymandering,” said Wade Perry, the executive director of the Alabama Democratic Party. “I don’t know if a second majority-minority district is possible. (But) I think more than one congressional district should be competitive.”

The Alabama House of Representatives could take up legislation authorizing medical marijuana; banning puberty blockers and hormones for transgender youth, and setting up a 2022 vote on allowing a lottery and expanded gambling in the state.

The Legislature plans to meet on Tuesday and Thursday and has scheduled its final day for May 17. House Speaker Mac McCutcheon, R-Monrovia, said Thursday he expected the gaming and cannabis bills to come to a vote.
