Pennsylvania state police still were searching Monday for a man who fled from state troopers after they pulled him over on Route 28 in Harmar on Friday.
Police identified the driver as Anthony Dwayne Smith Jr., 28, from the Pittsburgh area.
At about 5:30 p.m., police say, they spotted Smith’s vehicle, a tan Honda Pilot with Pennsylvania registration LKP5099, not displaying the proper temporary tags. Smith allegedly tossed a bag containing a white substance from the car, according to police. Troopers pulled over the car for those and other violations.
