Ormiston Endeavour s community champions have linked up with the Broomhill Pool Trust to launch the petition.

The company planning to restore and reopen Broomhill Pool in Ipswich has insisted their ambitious scheme to turn it into a year-round leisure centre is still on course, despite being delayed by the Covid pandemic.
Work to clear trees around the site started in early 2020 just weeks before the first lockdown came in.
The full restoration had been due to start around Easter last year and there were hopes that the new leisure centre would be open this summer.

Have you been missing your regular fitness classes? A Crouch End fitness centre is so keen to welcome its regulars that it is putting on a class at one minute past midnight when restrictions ease.
The Park Road Pools & Fitness will be open at 00.01 on Monday, May 17 to celebrate the return of indoor group exercise.
A Les Mills bodypump class will mark the gym’s first indoor session since December 2020 and will be a one-off fast-paced 45-minute class.
Bronte Terrell, Les Mills UK master trainer, said: “Being back and teaching live in the studio will feel like a proper step back towards normality.”
LEISURE centres are set to reopen on Monday in line with the government roadmap, council bosses have confirmed Braintree Sport and Health, Braintree Swimming and Fitness, and Halstead and Witham leisure centres are back in action from April 12. The move means pools and gyms will reopen for fitness fans to get their fix. Outdoor group exercise classes at Braintree Sport and Health Club and Witham Sports Ground will continue, joined by indoor classes re-starting at all centres from May 17. The centres are run by Fusion Lifestyle and Braintree Council. Bosses are delighted the facilities are reopening.
