A lawyer for Ronnie O Bannon, the DJ for Louisville rapper Jack Harlow, is seeking to have his bond reduced and is claiming self-defense in court, after O Bannon was indicted on a murder charge last week in a nightclub shooting.
O Bannon, known professionally as Ronnie Lucciano, is accused of killing Kasmira Nash during a pre-Kentucky Derby party at Vibes Restaurant and Ultra Lounge, according to Jefferson Commonwealth s Attorney Tom Wine s office.
O Bannon, 27, was indicted on one count of murder and one count of tampering with physical evidence after Louisville Metro Police said he shot Nash about 1:30 a.m. May 1 inside the nightclub, 1346 River Road.

Jack Harlow’s DJ was charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence.
Lucciano, was charged with an incident at Vibes Restaurant and Utlra Lounge, which was the venue that hosted a celebration for Harlow during Kentucky Derby Weekend.
The incident resulted in the death of Kasmira Nash, and another man received non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting.
Harlow has now come out with a statement which he posted on Instagram.
“My heart breaks for Kasmira, her children, and everyone else touched by this tragic death,” Harlow wrote. “My heart breaks for my city, a place that’s been through too much pain already. I’ve been in touch with Kasmira’s family during this unimaginably painful time, and I’m grateful to them for keeping the lines of communication open. Nothing can reverse what happened. Too many lives have been changed forever. My life will remain committed to making Louisville a better place.”
