WACO, TX â Waco Police are advising the public to avoid N 6th and W Waco Dr as they work on a serious crash that sent a motorcyclist to the hospital with serious injuries.
In a tweet, Waco Police said there is a serious traffic crash in the area and the public should avoid the area so first responders can work the scene.
Police said the accident occurred around 11:40 AM and was between a motorcycle and a sedan.
The motorcyclist did have serious, potentially life threatening injuries from the crash and has been transported to a local hospital, according to Waco Police Officer Garen Bynum.

In a typical week, Big Boy Wrecker Service tow company could answer between 50 and 80 vehicle pickup requests. Now, in just four days, Big Boys Wrecker Service has answered 68 calls and counting.
Over the weekend, Big Boys Wrecker Service answered a record breaking number of calls for wrecks and vehicles trapped in snow and ice.
âWeâre getting calls because they are calling other tow companies because other tow companies can t help them, but we can t help them either. All of our guys have been busy,â said Big Boys Wrecker Service Dispatcher Alicia Holder.

WACO, Texas (KWTX) - The Waco Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at Richard Karr Motors on Loop 340 Tuesday morning.
Officer Garen Bynum said police received a call for a robbery in progress around 6:45 a.m. Police were nearby and arrived quickly, but the suspects had already fled the scene. According to Officer Bynum, three armed men robbed customers inside the business, as well as the dealership. At this time, police are still working to learn what was taken.
