GREATER NOIDA: The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) will set up the district’s first skill development centre (SDC) for the local youths, especially farmers’ children with the aim to provide employment opportunities.
For this, the authority has tied up with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), where training in IT and electronics, hospitality, textiles and gadgets will be given to over 1,100 youths in the first phase.

Greater Noida: The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has allotted 31 tenders amounting to Rs 61 crore for the development and maintenance work in residential sectors and villages.
The tenders include maintenance and distribution of water pipeline, work of RCC roads and construction of drain on the 80-metre-wide Kasna road, construction and demolition (C&D) plant, interlocking tiles, crematorium, etc. These works will be carried out across over 25 sectors and over a dozen villages in Greater Noida.
After passing a budget of Rs 4,398 crore in its 122nd board meeting last week, this is the first allocation of budget by GNIDA for development and maintenance work across residential sectors and villages.
