Chennai is among the top-10 data center markets to watch for around the world, according to Cushman & Wakefield’s 2021 Global Data Center Market Comparison report.
The other nine markets to watch out for include Nairobi, Stockholm, Cape Town, Moscow, Athens, Abu Dhabi, Santiago, Kuala Lumpur, Vienna.

January onward, 20 farmers from five villages ho have to give up more than 80 hectare land for development of Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), have been sitting outside the compound of Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) in Knowledge Park 4.
Having given a call to mobilise more support, the farmers managed to garner support from the oppositions party leaders with Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party as well as Aam Aadmi Party leader joining the protest.

GREATER NOIDA: Residents in Uttar Pradesh s Greater Noida city will soon get Ganga water at their homes as the local development authority has expedited work on the drinking water project. According to reports, residential areas in these sectors - Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta and Pi 3 are expected to start receiving Ganga water supply from May onwards.
Residents of Swarn Nagri, sector 36, 35 and Phase 1 in Greater Noida will also start receiving Ganga water from May.

GREATER NOIDA: Several residential areas in the city, including Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta and Pi 3, are likely to get Ganga water supply by May.
The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has built pipeline and reservoirs for distributing 85 cusecs (207.95 MLD) of water from the Upper Ganga Canal in Haridwar and trials for the first phase (covering the populated areas) to supply 51.09 cusecs are likely to begin from mid-March. Currently, residents of Greater Noida get treated groundwater taken from ranny wells and tube wells.
“We will be able to provide Ganga water to residents of Greater Noida from May this year. While work to lay pipelines and build reservoirs was done earlier, we will start trials from mid-March,” said PK Kaushik, general manager (projects), GNIDA.
