Gallatin, or ZIP code 37066, like many Midstate areas, has seen an increase in home prices, and in the number of home closings in the last year.
The city sits about 30 miles northeast of downtown Nashville and was established in 1802 as the seat of Sumner County. It’s home to the main campus of Vol State Community College, Servpro, Berreta, the Gap and others. Recently, Whataburger announced a location is in the works.

One of the hottest ZIP codes in the greater Nashville area is in Murfreesboro, which sits about 30 miles away from downtown Nashville, a straight shot down I-24 East in Rutherford County. The city has seven ZIP codes that include 37130, which we profile this week.
Murfreesboro is home to one of Tennessee’s largest universities, Middle Tennessee State University. Murfreesboro also boasts a historic downtown area that offers shopping and restaurants.
Nashville-based public relations and marketing agency Reed Public Relations has announced the promotion of Macey Cleary to account supervisor.
Cleary has been employed by Reed (stylized as âREEDâ) since spring 2016, when she joined as an intern. In her new role, Cleary will increase management responsibilities by taking the reins of Reedâs internship program and helping lead company culture initiatives. She will retain her client list.
Cleary, a native of Birmingham, graduated from Auburn University in 2016 with a bachelorâs degree in public relations. She has volunteered with the Nashville chapter of the Public Relations Society of America for more than four years.
