CLEVELAND, Ohio Glenn R. Brown Jr., the leader who helped merge the faculties of Case Institute of Technology and Western Reserve College and the former senior vice president of technology and planning at Standard Oil of Ohio, died Sunday. He was 90. His cause of death is not known.
Brown’s drive to help his community and be a light for others was one of his most notable qualities. When Brown retired in 1986 from Standard Oil, which British Petroleum acquired, he had worked for the company for 34 years.

Sister companies Innoplast and Thermoprene, based in Auburn Township, recently signed a decadelong lease at Highland Park, the reimagined City View Center along Interstate 480. The 62,652-square-foot deal spans a former Dick s Sporting Goods store and part of a space once occupied by AJWright, a defunct discount retailer.
