Austin police say a man shot at an officer on Christmas Eve

Tuesday afternoon update: The man accused of shooting a gun at an Austin police officer on Christmas Eve was arrested Tuesday morning in Leander, according to authorities.  Police said 41-year-old Louis Rhyne was arrested around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday near the intersection of Crystal Falls Parkway and Horizon Park Boulevard in Leander. Anonymous tips provided to Crime Stoppers helped authorities find and arrest Rhyne, according to police.  No other information was made available Tuesday afternoon.  Original: A combined $11,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of a man who authorities say fired shots at an officer on Christmas Eve.
