La Cancillería de la administración de Nicolás Maduro rechazó este jueves las sanciones de Reino Unido contra su “diplomático venezolano” Álex Saab. En redes sociales han criticado que un extranjero sea catalogado como “diplomático venezolano”, debido a que Saab es de origen colombiano, y fue sancionado más temprano por malversar contratos “para su propio enriquecimiento”. En la red social Twitter, el canciller chavista Jorge Arreaza posteó lo siguiente: “Venezuela manifiesta su categórico rechazo a la decisión del Gobierno británico al pretender imponer sanciones unilaterales contra el ciudadano Álex Saab, diplomático venezolano, sometido a una a persecución judicial por parte del Gobierno de EEUU”.
