NITV announces Jack Latimore as managing editor March 10, 2021 8:43 SBS’ National Indigenous Television (NITV) has appointed Jack Latimore as managing editor of NITV Digital. Latimore, a Birpai man with family ties to Thungutti and Gumbaynggirr/Bundjalung nations, has been acting in the position since December 2020. Prior to his promotion, Latimore was the online news editor at NITV. He has also worked as a journalist at The Guardian Newspaper, Koori Mail, and as a daily editor at IndigenousX. Latimore’s new role will expand his remit to lead NITV’s digital editorial agenda and strategy, including its social media and video content on SBS On Demand. Latimore will continue to co-host and produce NITV’s weekly podcast, Take it Blak, and will also be managing NITV’s podcast and digital content strategy going forward.
