Now in its ninth series, this year will see the competition be more challenging than ever before!
Now in its ninth year, RTÉ show Ireland s Fittest Family is currently looking for participants, with producers scouring the country to find the fittest, fastest and strongest families to be coached to victory by the show s four returning coaches, Davy Fitzgerald, Anna Geary, Derval O’Rourke and Donncha O’Callaghan.
Requirements: Each family must be comprised of four immediate members

Have you and your family got what it takes to win Ireland s most extreme fitness competition?
The team behind Ireland s Fittest Family are scouring the country to find the fittest, fastest and strongest families to be coached to victory by four ultra-competitive coaches: Davy Fitzgerald, Anna Geary, Derval O’Rourke, and Donncha O’Callaghan.
Now in it s ninth series, and hosted by Mairead Ronan, the RTÉ One show will see the competition ramp up like never before.
Given the current Covid-19 pandemic, the production will follow HSE guidelines to ensure that strict social distancing and health and safety is adhered to throughout the competition by all crew and families taking part.

Last year, the Doyle family from Ballinascreen made it to the quarter final stage under the stewardship of Anna Geary, and with Mairéad Ronan back to present the show, there is a €15,000 prize up for grabs.
