Ireland s Fittest Family coach Anna Geary believes that the entertainment show is doing so much more than offering isolated viewers an hour of entertainment every Sunday night.
The second round of the Ireland’s Fittest Family quarter-final had households all over the country tuning in to see who will power through to the semi-final.
Last week, Anna Geary lost the second-last family she had in the competition and this week didn’t pan out much better for her.
Although all teams put on their best performance, it seems that Anna’s family, the Brackens, just didn’t have what it takes to get through.
They lost out on the eliminator but Anna is remaining motivated despite the setback.

The family came in second place during the Pontoons of Pain, so it was surprising when they found themselves in the eliminator after the Hanging Tough challenge which we all know is a lot more difficult than it looks.

Ireland s Fittest Family coach, Anna Geary, has spoken about her frustration with the constant questions she gets since she got married about starting a family.
The 33-year-old got married in October 2019 to the GAA executive Kevin Sexton in the Castlemartyr resort in her home county of Cork.
The former Cork Rose who first came to attention after captaining her team to an All-Ireland win against Kilkenny in 2014, has gone on to appear on Dancing with the Stars and has been working on a new documentary called ‘Back in the Game which works with a group of teenage girls to encourage them to get involved in sport.
