ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and India exchanged lists of their nuclear installations and strategic facilities under Article-II of the Agreement on Prohibition of Attacks against Nuclear Installations and Facilities, the Foreign Office said in a statement issued on Friday.
The agreement, signed on December 31, 1988, states that both countries inform each other of their nuclear installations and facilities on 1st January every year.
The list of nuclear installations and facilities in Pakistan was officially handed over to a representative of the Indian High Commission at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at 11:00am today.

With the turn of the year, Pakistan and India have shared the lists of their nuclear installations and strategic facilities as part of an agreement that limits the two adversaries from attacking each other’s atomic facilities during a war.
Earlier today, Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided the list of the country’s sensitive installations and facilities to the Indian High Commission in Islamabad.

Pakistan and India on Friday exchanged lists of their respective nuclear installations and facilities, according to a statement issued by the Foreign Office.
Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said a list of Pakistan’s nuclear installations and facilities had been officially handed over to a representative of the Indian High Commission at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Likewise, he said, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi had handed over the list of Indian nuclear installations and facilities to a representative of the Pakistan High Commission.

India and Pakistan on Friday exchanged the 30th consecutive list of their nuclear installations under a bilateral arrangement. This is an annual practice which prohibits them from attacking each other s atomic facilities. The exchange took place through diplomatic channels simultaneously at New Delhi and Islamabad.
The exchange was made in accordance with Article-II of the Agreement on Prohibition of Attacks against Nuclear Installations and Facilities between Pakistan and India, signed on December 31, 1988, the Foreign Office (FO) said in a statement here.
