Other Voices, Ireland’s iconic TV music festival returns to Wales this month to mark the deep-rooted connection between the two countries. With a host of exceptional musical talents making their way to the National Museum Cardiff to perform, Other Voices Cardigan is set to be a glorious celebration of the shared Celtic identity of Ireland and Wales. The second edition of Other Voices Cardigan - part of GŵYL 2021 - is supported by both the Welsh and Irish Governments and S4C and aims to deepen and strengthen the two nations’ long-standing relationship with positive engagement in the light of global uncertainty, through a weekend of beautifully realised musical performances.

The series, presented by May Kay and Huw Stephens, is now in its 19th season and will run for 10 weeks, from March 4th at 11.05pm.

Hozier will kick off the season with an intimate, stripped-back, performance, featuring new string arrangements by Ireland s Crash Ensemble. Viewers can also expect performances from two Choice Music Prize nominated acts - the indie rock four-piece Pillow Queens and singer-songwriter Niamh Regan, both of whom released debut albums in 2020.
