Shepherd’s Men to visit Lynchburg Tuesday and Wednesday
The Shepherd’s Men are in Lynchburg tomorrow and Wednesday where their 10-membe team of active military, veterans and civilians will be running and walking from the parking lot of Depot Grill and go up 9th St. to Monument Terrace top for 22 hours straight wearing 22 pound flack vests. They’re raising awareness of the 22 veterans who commit suicide in the United States each day. They will start at noon Tuesday and finish 22 hours later at 10 AM Wednesday. Fellow citizens and veterans are invited to join at any point along the route.
