Recruitment company Atlas Professionals is now accepting applications for its Greenhand Program, which it says is designed to meet the North Sea drilling industry’s need for an inflow of competence assured greenhand roustabouts. As part of the Greenhand Program, Atlas organizes free greenhand training days to inform those interested in working offshore about the dos and don’ts in the industry, elaborates on training requirements, and puts a special focus on safety standards. Training subjects include performing risk assessments, working at heights, preventing hand and finger injuries, and the control of lifting equipment, Atlas noted.

Atlas to speed HKN recruitment drive

Recruitment specialist Atlas Professionals has a contract to supply quality management personnel for CrossWind s 759MW Hollandse Kust Noord (HKN) offshore wind farm off the Dutch coast. Atlas will supply quality management and inspection personnel covering seabed surveys, fabrication, assembly, installation and commissioning over the next three years. Atlas Professionals commercial manager Grant Johnston said: “We are delighted to be awarded this contract by the CrossWind team. “We look forward to contributing to the consortium on the Hollandse Kust Noord project with our expertise in quality management personnel.” Atlas’ UK and Dutch teams will be recruiting personnel for offshore UXO work, welding and cable manufacture QA inspectors, cable and turbine installation, turbine assembly, HV electrical SAP and offshore electrical engineers, among others.

Orsted recruits Atlas for German project personnel

Recruitment firm Atlas Professionals has been selected as a preferred supplier of temporary personnel services to Orsted in Germany until end of 2025. The agreement from 1 March 2021 covers the provision of qualified personnel during the full life cycle of Orsted’s offshore wind farms in Germany. The roles Atlas will provide will range from engineering, electrical, operations and logistics to project management, commissioning and various roles related to O&M inspections. Atlas will support Orsted in filling these positions through the company’s offices in Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK. The recruitment company currently holds this and several other agreements with Orsted to cover personnel for the developer’s global projects.
