ROADWORKS are set to cause a long-term closure in Colchester. St Johns Green/Flagstaff Road will temporarily close from its junction with Southway to the junction with Walsingham Road on July 26 for 82 days. A “no waiting, no loading and no stopping” restriction in that length of the road will be introduced for the closure. Look out for Station Road to close in Thorrington. A length of the road will close from its junction with Church Road to its junction with Great Bentley Road for one night on July 31, until 8.30am. The closure is for the safety of the public and workforce while level crossing works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
