TWO Dublin bars are offering the opportunity to purchase a substantial meal for €9 that will be suspended.
Under current Covid-19 restrictions, people are only allowed to drink in a pub if they are also having a meal costing at least €9.

The Oscars Cafe Bar in Smithfield and The Camden on Camden Street in the capital both posted on social media, complaining that under the controversial rule too much food is going to waste.
Both bars said customers can pay €9 for a meal that will be suspended, with the bars donating a portion of the money to charity.
