New Delhi, March 3 : Haryana s teenage wrestler Sonam Malik has pulled out of the upcoming World Ranking Series (WRS) due to a minor head injury sustained in a national camp, said her personal coach Ajmer Singh on Wednesday.
The 19-year old national champion in 62 kg received four to five stitches on her head while she was training with 2016 Olympic bronze medallist Sakshi Malik during the national camp in Lucknow last week, said Ajmer. Sonam was preparing for the WRS starting Thursday.

Rankings are done based on 40 parameters, including time taken at the toll plaza, speed of operations, quality of signages, accidents per km per year, among others.
National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will make this a bi-annual feature for evaluating roads’ quality, which will also prompt competition among road developers.

A 17-year-old girl allegedly died by suicide in a village in Punjab s Hoshiarpur on Monday, with her father claiming she was upset over being repeatedly harassed by two men.
The victim s father filed a complaint, alleging that his daughter, a Class 12 student of the senior secondary school in Bhambotar, was being harassed by two men - Rahul and Sahil - of the village, the police said.
