At least 12 suspects, including a former SHO Okara have been booked under the provisions of robbery of and kidnapping in Chichawatni on Wednesday.
The case was registered in Saddar Chichawatni police station under different sections of PPC including 365(Kidnapping or abducting with intent secretly and wrongfully to confine person) and 395(Punishment for dacoity) on the complaint of Muhammad Saleem. Former SHO Abdul Aziz Cheema has been arrested while police are conducting raids to nab 11 other suspects.
Police said Mohammad Saleem Dogar, resident of Chichawatni requested the police station that on 25/03/21 at7 pm, former SHO Okara police station Abdul Aziz Cheema along with six policemen and five private persons entered his uncle s house at 38 Bara L and snatched Rs30 million in cash and three tolas gold jewellery.

CHICHAWATNI (Dunya News) - Former SHO Sadar Police Station Okara Aziz Cheema was arrested on charges of robbery of Rs 30 million.
A case has been registered against former SHO Inspector Aziz Cheema, 6 policemen and 5 private persons on the complaint of Muhamamd Saleem, resident of village 38/12 LK, at Sadar police station in Chichawatni.
According to the FIR, about a month and a half ago, the former SHO of Okara police station raided Hakim Ali s house along with six policemen and five private individuals.
