In a fresh turn of events, the Supreme Court on Friday agreed to hear an appeal filed by BJP leader Ajay Kumar Agarwal challenging a 2005 Delhi High Court order quashing charges against Europe-based industrialists the Hinduja brothers in the politically-sensitive Bofors pay-off scam case.

A leopard was spotted in the early hours of Saturday in a parking lot of an apartment complex off Begur Road, sending residents into a state of alarm. Though the personnel from
police, fire, emergency services and forest were pressed into action, the wild cat has not been traced so far. By 8 pm, others claimed that they had spotted the big cat again.
After the morning’s incident, residents of the apartment complex, Prestige Song, were given an advisory to stay at home and step out only in case of an emergency. A helpdesk was also set up with a guard to escort those who want to go out.
