THE security situation in the country worsened, yesterday, as Osun Police command confirmed the abduction of two Chinese expatriates, Zhao Juan, 33, and one Wen, 50 at a mining site in the state.
Similarly, a family of five in Ondo State was also kidnapped at Ajowa-Akoko area of the state during the Easter holiday as their abductors demanded N10 million as ransom for their release.
Some suspected herdsmen, yesterday, equally attacked three women in Irele-Ekiti, Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State.

A family of five who were in their hometown in Ondo State to spend the Easter Celebration have been kidnapped in the Ajowa Akoko area of the state.
Following their abduction, the gunmen established contact with the family demanding the sum of N10 million as a ransom for their release.
According to reports, the victims Ibrahim Olusa, a native of Daja Ajowa, his wife and three children were abducted at gunpoint between Ajowa Akoko and Ayere in Kogi state.
The victims were returning to Abuja after spending the Easter holiday in their Ajowa home town when they were abducted by gunmen, a development that has thrown the community into apprehension and confusion.

A family of five who were returning to their base in Abuja have been abducted by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers in Ondo State.
The victims who were on their way to Abuja after the Easter celebration in their hometown of Ajowa-Akoko in Akoko North West Local Government Area of Ondo State were kidnapped between Ajowa and Ayere in Kogi State.
According to a native of Ajowa, Ibrahim Olusa, the victims were a husband, wife and three children.
He added that they were abducted at gunpoint while exiting the community to Abuja where they reside.
A family source told DAILY POST that the kidnappers have contacted the family, demanding 10 million Naira as ransom before they can be released.
