Jul 24, 2021, 12:11 IST In a tragic incident, two cars collided with each other at Chennaram Gate of Uppanuntala Mandal, on Hyderabad- Srisailam Highway on Friday. Seven persons, including a woman and a teenager, died on the spot while another person sustained injuries. While the Ford Figo car was returning from Srisailam, a Toyota Etios was travelling towards Srisailam. According to the police, all the victims were residents of Suchitra and Anandbagh in Hyderabad. The accident occurred around 6 pm while the passengers were returning from Srisailam darshan. The injured person, Naresh Kumar was shifted to a local hospital in Achampet.   Out of the seven deceased, Vamshi, Venkatesh and one unidentified person aged between 20-30 years were in Figo car. The remaining four in Etios were identified as Shiva Kumar, Murthy, Subbalaxmi and one boy aged about 15 years.
