Two pleas were filed in the Supreme Court on Wednesday over the tractor rally violence on the Republic Day with one seeking setting up of a commission, headed by a retired apex court judge, to inquire into the incident while the other urged it to direct the media not to declare farmers as terrorist without any evidence. The tractor parade on Tuesday that was to highlight the demands of farmer unions to repeal three new agri laws dissolved into anarchy on the streets of the national capital as thousands of protesters broke through barriers, fought with the police, overturned vehicles and hoisted a religious flag from the ramparts of the iconic Red Fort.

California, Jan 27: Google-owned YouTube has paid more than $30 billion to creators, artists, and media companies in the last three years, according to CEO Susan Wojcicki.
According to an Oxford Economics report, YouTube s creative ecosystem contributed approximately $16 billion to the US GDP in 2019, supporting the equivalent of 345,000 full time jobs. The UK in 2019 saw approximately 1.4 billion pounds contributed to the British GDP and the equivalent of 30,000 full time jobs. And in France, there was an estimated 515 million euros contributed to the French GDP and the equivalent of 15,000 full time jobs, Wojcicki said in a blog post on Tuesday.
