This is one of the four stations which will be restored by the Indian National Trust for Art & Cultural Heritage (INTACH) with the support of South Western Railway ( Bengaluru, said that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the INTACH seeks to restore and preserve the heritage railway stations at Doddajala, Devanahalli, Avatihalli and Nandi Halt based on different themes. “This is one of the region’s oldest Railway line. These buildings are quaint examples of colonial style architecture located in picturesque, stretch. The line, in Meter gauge became operational in August 1915,” officials said.
