Kolhapur: In a shocking incident reported from Rajasthan, a 6 months old pregnant woman from Assam was allegedly sedated, raped and forcibly wedded by two men.
According to media reports, the victim was abducted from Assam with her three-year-old daughter and was allegedly forced to consume a drink that had been mixed with sedatives.
The incident came to light when the victim somehow managed to escape and went to the police station to lodge a complaint.

DIMAPUR: In a major success, the Gurugram police busted a gang that stole luxury cars from Delhi, NCR region and Rajasthan and then sell them in Nagaland.
The gang was unearthed when two members identified as Ankit of Hisar and Zalal of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh was arrested by the crime unit Sector-10 of the Gurugram police.
The accused later confessed that the gang would use to sell high-end luxury cars in Nagaland to an illegal car dealer named Kikheto in Nagaland.

NEW DELHI: In an RTI application with reg no NSERT/R/E/20/00324/, dated 03/09/2020, two questions were asked regarding the sources of claims made in the class 12th History textbook- Themes of Indian History Part II.
The questions are:
1) Refer to the second para of page 234 in the textbook Themes of Indian history part II (class XII), in that regard, please provide the source from which the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) concluded that even when temples were destroyed during wars, grants were later issued for their repair- as we know from the reigns of Shah Jahan and Aurangazeb .
Over 500 Shanty Huts of Rohingya Refugees Destroyed by Fire in Bangladesh
UNHCR said more than 550 shelters – home to at least 3,500 people – were either totally or partially destroyed in the fire in a Rohingya refugee camp.
NAYAPARA: A massive blaze claimed more than 500 shanty homes in a Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh.
According to reports, the massive inferno left 3,500 people homeless while 150 shops were damaged with no serious casualties registered.
Rezwan Hayat, Head of Refugee Cell in Bangladesh said that the incident took place at around 2 am at the Nayapara camp. The houses were made of tin and bamboo. We have immediately supplied hot food and bamboo and tarpaulins to the affected people to reconstruct their homes, he said.

GANGTOK: In the wake of the outbreak of avian influenza from across the country, the Sikkim government has declared a blanket ban on all import of poultry products from other states for a month.
In a notification from the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services Department Secretary, it stated that In the wake of the report of an avian influenza outbreak in several states and to prevent possible ingress of avian influenza disease in the state, the Government of Sikkim hereby imposes ban on entry of poultry and with the outbreak of avian influenza as many as ten states have reported a loss of poultry products poultry products from outside the state with immediate effect for a period of one month from the date of issue of notificatio
