Islamabad [Pakistan], May 26 (ANI): The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) on Wednesday condemned the brutal attack on journalist Asad Ali Toor. HRCP strongly condemns the brutal assault on journalist@AsadAToor by three unknown men who barged into his residence. We see it as yet another attack on freedom of expression and a free press. HRCP demands that the authorities apprehend and charge the assailants immediately, Pakistan s Human Rights Commission said in a tweet.

Journalist Asad Toor was brutally assaulted by unidentified men at his home in Islamabad on Tuesday, his friend told SAMAA Digital.
The attackers broke into his house and attacked him, his friend and a journalist Asad Malik said. He was brutally beaten and we are taking him to PIMS, he added.
Islamabad police haven t commented on the attack but Amna Baig, a senior police official, said police is responding .

Islamabad [Pakistan], May 26 (ANI): A Islamabad-based journalist Asad Ali Toor, known for criticism of the country s establishment, was attacked in Pakistan s capital late on Tuesday.
The attackers broke into his house and attacked him, SAMAA Digital reported citing his friend and journalist Asad Malik. He was brutally beaten and we are taking him to Pakistan Institute of Medical Science, he added.
