HAMPTON ROADS, Va. - The Neighborhood Harvest partners with the Access College Foundation to deliver Christmas meals to 25 families in the Hampton Roads area.
Starting this week, the Neighborhood Harvest will deliver 18 - 20 pound turkeys, along with fresh fruit and vegetables, to the families enrolled in their community outreach program.
According to a news release, TNH President Thomas Vandiver said this program, which began in October, was created to fill the nutrition gap and help families in Hampton Roads consume healthier foods.
