Frank Akpan, father to Uduak Akpan, the serial killer who murdered an innocent job seeker in Akwa Ibom State, Iniubong Umoren has said that his son should face the full wrath of the law.
Recall that Uduak, while speaking with journalist during a parade by the police on Friday revealed that he killed the deceased by hitting her with a stabilizer.
The suspect admitted to luring the deceased with a fake job employment scheme, adding that he has also used such schemes on 6 other girls.
Bayelsa begins Yenagoa airport’s operations with Ibom’s 50-seater aircraft

The Bayelsa State Government will use a 50-seater aircraft belonging to Ibom Air to start commercial flight operations at the Bayelsa International Airport.
This followed the opening of partnership negotiation between Bayelsa and the Akwa State government, owners of Ibom Air.
The partnership was struck on Saturday when a delegation from Bayelsa led by the Deputy Governor, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, met in Uyo with their counterparts from Akwa Ibom State.
The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority had on April 17 granted Bayelsa International Airport the approval to commence commercial flight operations.

There was panic among residents of the Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State on Tuesday as the military bombarded the Ikot Akpan forest in the area.
The PUNCH learnt that the military operation was aimed at flushing out hoodlums who had been attacking police formations in the state.
Residents, who share boundaries with hoodlums’ hideouts, told one of our correspondents that the bombing of the forest started at 8am and ended at 12 noon on Tuesday.
The military exercise came barely 24 hours after gunmen attacked the Imo State police command headquarters and the Nigerian Correctional Service in Owerri, the state capital, where 1,844 inmates were freed.
