After Dana White announced Colby Covington is up next for the welterweight title shot against Kamaru Usman, Covington is doing what he does best, creating chaos.
Covington was giving his thoughts on some of the more notable attendees at UFC 261, namely former Strikeforce welterweight champion and UFC title challenger Nick Diaz and YouTube sensation turned professional boxer Jake Paul.
“Chaos” believes neither of them would want a fight with him, primarily taking aim at “The Problem Child”.
“Oh, those guys? No, they don’t want to fight me. Especially Jake Paul,” Covington said to Submission Radio. “He’s only looking to fight washed up, you know, past their time fighters. Guys that don’t know how to throw punches.
Dominick Reyes excited about fighting again heading into UFC Vegas 25

After suffering the first two losses of his career back to back in 2020, Dominick Reyes is back.
The no. 3 ranked UFC light heavyweight contender makes his return Saturday in the main event of UFC Vegas 25 against no. 5 ranked light heavyweight Jiri Prochazka.
Reyes’ first loss in 2020 was a unanimous decision loss against no. 1 ranked pound-for-pound fighter Jon Jones for the light heavyweight championship at UFC 247 in what many believed should have been a victory for Reyes.
Reyes then had another opportunity at the belt, fighting Jan Blachowicz for the title after Jones vacated the belt at UFC 253.

Along with the welterweight title bout, UFC 261 showcased two women’s world title bouts. In the co-main event, former Strawweight champion Rose Namajunas recaptured the title by knocking out former champion Zhang Weili while women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko dominated former strawweight titleholder Jessica Andrade.
Dustin Poirier predicts finish of Conor McGregor in trilogy bout

No. 1 ranked lightweight contender Dustin Poirier shared his thoughts on the recent events that took place surrounding his highly anticipated trilogy bout with no. 6 ranked lightweight Conor McGregor July 10 in the main event of UFC 264.
A significant amount of the anticipation headed into this fight is a result of the drama surrounding the upcoming trilogy was Poirier announcing on Twitter that McGregor did not donate $500,000 to Poirier’s The Good Fight Foundation as he said he would.
This resulted in a spat between the two, with McGregor even saying the fight was off at one point.
