Police: Floyd County woman reportedly missing for days

FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. - Floyd County Police are asking searching for a missing woman and need your help to bring her home safely.
Officials with the Floyd County Police Department say 39-year-old Shanah Garrison left her home a few days ago with just a few clothes and without her service dog.
Garrison is described as 5-feet-2-inches tall with a weight of 110 pounds. She has green eyes and short brownish and blond hair.
Police believe she is with her silver Jeep Wranger with tag RDE1323.

Officials are monitoring possible cluster on fentanyl overdoses happening in Floyd, Richmond, and Chatham counties.
FLOYD COUNTY, Ga - State and local officials are monitoring a possible cluster of overdoses related to fentanyl-laced counterfeit pills.
Rome and Floyd, Richmond, and Chatham counties are the areas that have seen a spike in fentanyl overdoses. Investigators said fentanyl is an opioid that is extremely potent and dangerous. Just a little bit of it you can overdose on it, said Floyd County Police Officer Todd Pelanek.
Officer Todd Pelanek has seen the drug problem in the area firsthand. He wasn t surprised when state officials issued a warning that overdoses-related pills laced with fentanyl were popping up in Rome and Floyd County.
