I doubt a judge will really say okay to this, but rapper Silento wants to be free in his Georgia felony murder case. Remember, back in February, Silento was arrested and charged with murder for his alleged role in the death of his cousin, Fredrick Rooks. According to TMZ, DeKalb County, GA requesting the court set his bond at $25k. Silento said if a judge grants him bond, he wont run and he doesn t think he is a flight risk. Dude, you re in trouble for allegedly killing your own cousin. He believes denying him bond is unconstitutional. A bond hearing is set for later this month so we will see what a judge will agree to.

TMZ states the rapper’s legal team has filed documents in DeKalb County, GA requesting a bond of $25K. Silento is arguing that he’s “not an extraordinary bail risk and will not jeopardize the safety of the community if released on bail.”
Silento is also stating that he will not run or go into hiding if on bond and will obey all court orders.

According to XXL Silento, born Richard “Ricky” Lamar Hawk” was arrested for the murder on Jan. 21.
“Today, Ricky Hawk, 23, was arrested for the murder of his cousin Frederick Rooks, 34. On January 21, the DeKalb County Police Department investigated Rooks’ death after he was found shot on Deep Shoals Circle. Hawk is in the DeKalb County Jail charged with Murder. #WeAreDKPD,” the DeKalb County Police Department shared in a tweet.

Silento s family is definitely going through it. Of course they are mourning the death of a family member, Fredric Rooks, who is the cousin of Silento. But the rapper was arrested and charged with Rooks murder. The family is banding together over the arrest, according to TMZ. Rooks death happened on January 21 and Silento was arrested 11 days later. Silento s rep claims her client has been sufferings a series of mental health illnesses. Back in 2019, Silento was on the show, The Doctors, where he even revealed he was suffering from depression, but he never got hep for it. As far as going to jail the family is rallying behind Silento, in hopes that the jail is taking proper precautions to make sure Silento doesn t do anything dangerous to himself.
