Race Director Jim Stasaitis said this would have been a perfect day for it too. Today, cloudy, a little breeze, not humid, cool, would ve been an excellent day. Things just don t work out sometimes.

Matt Brewery in Utica has completed a nearly $35 million expansion, that will allow the company to double its production, and create new jobs locally. The expansion includes a new brewhouse and tank farm, which will allow for 10 -12 brews per day, and also add fermenting capacity. “Our business diversification strategy, along with investments in the brewery, have resulted in tremendous growth in our business,” said Fred Matt, president of F.X. Matt Brewery. “In the last two years, we have added significantly to our capabilities, and are now producing a wide range of beverages, including distilled spirits, wine, energy drinks, and ‘good for you’ beverages, in addition to beer and soft drinks.”

FX Matt Brewery Announces Major Investment, Plan To Add Jobs The FX Matt Brewery is announcing the completion of their nearly $35 million Brewhouse and Tank Farm expansion, with plans for another $11 million in brewery investments. President Fred Matt says with the added capacity and sales projected to grow over 100 percent this year, the brewery is looking for workers. Matt says they’re looking to hire 25 to 30 workers immediately. He says jobs are available in administration, production and maintenance.
