Lycoming DA again rules cops were justified fatally shooting Texas man, reveals more details Updated May 19, 6:41 PM; Posted May 19, 5:42 PM Facebook Share WILLIAMSPORT – The Lycoming County district attorney has confirmed his preliminary determination police were justified in using deadly force against a Texas man on Feb. 11 following a pursuit that was preceded by an armed robbery. District Attorney Ryan C. Gardner did so Wednesday when he released the results of a joint investigation by his office and state police into the fatal shooting of Clifford E. Wilbur Jr., 38, in Williamsport’s west end. The report contains details not previously made public. This is Gardner’s summation of the investigation:

Now, around 100 years on, historians are looking for clues as they put names to faces of people from Cardiff s past. Glamorgan Archives want help to identify people in a series of photos, taken in Cardiff Docks. Archivist Rhian Diggins said the images were a significant piece of the city s diverse history. Ms Diggins said: Quite often the images that survive in collections tend to be of the great and the good , the wealthy and powerful who would be photographed due to the positions they held in business or society.
