Recently awarded an MBE in the New Year Honours list, London designer Yinka Ilori (above) is on something of a roll. He became known for large-scale colour-block installations inspired by the colours and motifs of West African fabrics, such as the first ever Dulwich Pavilion at the Dulwich Picture Gallery in 2017, exhibitions at the Shop at Bluebird and the London Design Festival, and his Love Always Wins mural unveiled last year in

This year, Schumacher deputy fire chief Ryan Hartling had to find out what 160 kids wanted for Christmas. For the 105th straight year, every child in Schumacher will receive a Christmas gift from the man their community is named after. Frederick Schumacher set aside a trust fund to ensure that local children would get presents for decades after he died. Firefighters will be delivering the gifts this weekend.
