Konvoy Kegs heads for IPO with Boral CEO as chair

Konvoy Kegs, a fast-growing keg rental business with 400 craft brewers as customers and a technology arm enabling kegs to be electronically tracked with small beacons welded onto them, is headed for a listing on the Australian Securities Exchange.
The company, which is chaired by Boral chief executive Zlatko Todorcevski, is embarking on a $27 million fund-raising with Moelis guiding it, comprising of $7 million in fresh equity and a pre-IPO convertible note.
Konvoy founder and chief executive Adam Trippe-Smith said on Tuesday the business was in a strong growth phase despite a short-term hit from lockdowns in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
